CANNABIS LAW
On December 27, 2020, New Jersey passed the Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement, Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act, also known as CREAMM Act.
New Jersey's Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization (CREAMM) Act allows for the legal sale and use of cannabis and cannabis products for residents 21 years and older.
The Cannabis Regulatory Commission was launched on April 12, 2021 pursuant to the CREAMM Act. The agency establishes the rules necessary for the operation of cannabis businesses in New Jersey.
